I am excited to let you guys know Andrew Mick has been added to the crew. Welcome man! He is one of Travis' friends down in Baltimore and he kills it, and has for quite some time. You might remember his name from appearances in a couple SHOOK issues, including a full part in Brainstormed. I first met Andrew a couple years ago and had thought in the past to get him involved in Peg Leg. After he came up with Travis for the weekend recently and did a bunch of wild riding, and I got to know him a little more, I decided to put him on.

I don't have anything really exciting to post about so I decided to throw this photo up here. It was shot by Stephen Meszaros on a trip back in early summer with Wade Young filming for SHOOK.

Jeff Martin and CT Weekend

I went to go visit Jeff this weekend down in CT. Saturday was plagued with rain so we ended up hitting up the Haven park which turned out to be real fun. Went out and rode some street Sunday, shot this photo of Jeff doing the rail opposite, and made my way home.

This edit is from like 9 months ago, but for some reason it never really got posted up anywhere. He is living in Philly now, but since winter is creeping in it probably won't be til spring that I get to visit.

Travis and Friends Visit

Travis Splain made his way up to my house in MA this weekend getting in some riding before the real cold weather set in. It had been a little over a year since I last got to see him, and it was a real fun time hanging out and hitting up some spots in the area. While Travis was up here he did some filming for a video he has in the works called Business Casual. One of the clips he went home with was of Andrew Mick going straight on to manual down the rail, which I shot the photo of. Damn good weekend, hope to see these dudes again real soon. Below is a trailer from a couple months ago that Travis posted promoting the dvd.

Roasting Apples in VA

My trip down to Virginia was a real a fun time. One of the nights Kie Ashworth, over on his first visit to the states from Australia, wanted to make Smores, but 711 didn't have any marshmallows so somehow a whole bunch of us ended up roasting a bunch of apples. We toasted them up, peeled the skin off and coated them in sugar, they were pretty damn good.

Taking a trip

I just got started with this blog and here I am about to take off on a trip down to the contest FBM is putting on down in Richmond, VA. Be back to posting on here around the 15th. If you can, you should make it to the high air contest, and if you do and me standing around introduce yourself.

First Post / Jeff Martin

This is the start of the Peg Leg blog. I was going to get one going about two years ago but didn't make it past post number one. I thought this was an appropriate way to get things going, with Jeff having surgery on his foot earlier today and this being our first edit for DIGBMX.COM.
