Hartford Photo by Sven Meszaros

Sven put this photo up on his flickr the other day of the bunch of us out riding in Hartford a few weeks ago. Jeff asked the homeless guy if he wanted to be included in the photo and he was real happy to be a part of it. Can't wait til spring already, some more good sessions down in CT.

Phoenix Street Jam

Clay hit me up a few days ago letting me know he was helping put on a jam in Phoenix, and asking if I would want to sponsor it. I am mailing a package on down today, and above is the flyer put together to promote the event. Phoenix is one of my favorite places to visit, and if I had known sooner I would have tried to make it to the jam.

Richard Mungall - Peg Leg DVD Section

I decided to post up Richard Mungall's section in part to get word out that we have our new website up. People probably don't realize all of Mungall's footage had been gathered by Roloff before he moved down to Tucson, and that was a little over a year before the DVD came out. If you browse the new site you will see we have all our recent edits embedded through vimeo, along with a video archive page featuring most all the Peg Leg edits we have posted since we got started in 2004.

Jeff Evans - Hiatus Section 2005

After Mungall uploaded his part from Horizon the other day it got me thinking about the passing of time and how video sections are such great time capsules. For me as either a rider or filmer involved with a video part, it will take me back to what the session when a clip was filmed was like, or the roadtrip we were on, or any number of good memories. At the same time Jeff Evans was filming for Hiatus, Peg Leg was putting together a section for SHOOK, and if I was to pop that in right now I know it would bring me back to all the good times I had collecting footage for that. I don't have that part sitting on my computer, but I definitely want to upload it, but I had Jeff's section so I decided to throw it up here.

Alex Raban - Peg Leg DVD Section

Alex Raban's section from our DVD. To see more of Raban's riding pick up Roll Wit Us, a video he and his friends have been working on for a while. It is expected to be out in December and he will have a full section.

More Online Sales

We have sales running at all of our online stores now. DVD's for international customers for 10 dollars shipping included anywhere in the world, and a bit less for those ordering from Canada and the US. We are trying to clear out our current inventory to fund a bunch of new stuff for the spring. If you like something, get it now because we typically do not reprint graphics in the same colors, and some of these might not be reprinted again altogether.

Chris Neighbors Edit on FBMBMX.COM

There is an edit of Chris Neighbors over on fbmbmx.com. Neighbors is one of Kenny's friends who lives in Richmond, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and riding with while I was down in Virginia last month. This edit is pretty rad, definitely not like the other edits you see plastered on the internet everyday. Hopefully next time I make it down south Kenny, Chris and myself will get do some more riding together. Maybe get some clips towards a Peg Leg video project if he is down.

New Peg Leg Site Coming Soon

peglegsite

After years of our current site I have finally started working on a new layout for peg-leg.net. When I put together the site before I didn't have a single clue about web design, and produced something that was a pain to update, and had poor navigation. The new website will be a welcomed change, far more functional, and the beginning of a lot of new stuff to come.

FBM Roadtrip

fbm

At the beginning of last month I took a trip with some of the FBM team down and back to the Ghetto High Air Contest they put on. The trip was a great time, and I look forwards to seeing all of them again soon. Crandall has put together a web edit over on the FBM site of the footage I got with the guys.

Fakie Master - Ian McComber

Fakie Master from Freakbmx on Vimeo.

I started to hook Ian(fakie master) up recently. He lives down in CT and rides with Jeff Martin and Matt Barchus often. This video was originally posted on shortcutss.blogspot.com back in April, I believe filmed and edited by Anthony Villani. Check out the new shook video when it drops for some more recent riding.
