Haha this grindbox looks awesome. 2003

Classic FBM Angel of Death

Raban has always been good with the crooks. Mitch Ayala photo 2005.

Raban posted a bunch of older photos on his facebook and I had him send over a few to put up on the blog. Its great seeing some older stuff, crazy to see how much things change over the years. I might try to get a hold of some older stuff from others in the crew to put up here in the future. It snowed here in Massachusetts today, which makes me that much happier I am heading to AZ tomorrow and then California from there.

Matt Barchus Photo from Florida

Matt Barchus hopping over the post into the bank during our stay in Florida on his new sputnic setup. They hooked him up with pretty much everything including a frame, bars, cranks, pegs and more.

Kenny PL Panda Stencil

Saw some shots of Kenny using an FBM stencil that comes with one of their sprockets over on fbmbmx.com and noticed he had also made a Peg Leg panda stencil. Pretty pscyhed to see that!

Jeff Martin Photo from Florida

Photo of Jeff doing a manual drop down ice during our recent trip to Florida. Jeff killed it on this trip, and we shot some better stuff, but that stuff is on its way to a more interesting destination than this blog. I will post where to check those out when I know for sure.

Fakie Master in Shook's Gotta Blast

Gotta Blast: Ian Mcomber

This is our buddy Ian "Fakie Master" Mcomber's section from Shook's Gotta Blast. Fakie was along for our recent trip to Florida and it was great hanging with him for the week. I look forward to filming with Ian, Barchus and Martin in the spring, especially as I sit inside watching a whole bunch of snow fall.

Back From Florida

We got back from Florida yesterday afternoon. It was a real fun trip, and a great opportunity to escape the Northeast winter. Not sure when the footage will make it online because I am working on getting together a couple different edits currently. With the crew being small I opted not to try to do an edit solely from this trip's footage. A Jeff Martin edit and also one from PL's Arizona contingent are among the videos currently planned.

The above photo is a light test of Barchus for a trick that didn't end up happening due to wind and a strange run up. I shot a bunch of photos on the trip but am also saving that those for the time being. I would like to say thanks again to Mike Davis for being an awesome host and letting us crash at his place in Florida once again. Check back soon for a story or two from the trip.

Thanks Eastern Boarder!

The guys over at EB Natick(formerly Framingham) have been helping me out for years. Part of getting ready for a road trip usually means a trip over to the shop to pick up some stuff to try to ensure my bike is all set while I am away. I got what I needed, new pedals and grips, and Steve helped the whole crew out by hooking up some tubes. Tubes are an essential road trip supply, you don't want to be driving all over the place wasting endless time trying to fix someone's flat. Thanks for the support Eastern Boarder!

Great Celtics Inbounds Play to Force OT Tonight

This inbounds play tonight was definitely one of the best moments of the season so far. The possession prior Dwyane Wade had stolen the ball from Ray Allen and put the Heat up by 2 points with .6 seconds left on the clock. Watching the game and seeing Wade take off for the dunk leaving so little time was pretty crushing. For Doc to come back with this play, and to choose to throw it up to the smallest dude on the floor was amazing. Oh yeah and the Celtics went on to win in overtime. About the only thing I am going to miss when we head to Florida on a road trip Friday is watching the Celtics on TV.

Jeff Martin, Jeff Kocsis, and Villani in Gotta Blast

Jeff Martin, Jeff Kocsis, and Villani in Shook's Gotta Blast. Martin broke his foot a couple months into filming for this and wasn't back on his bike til after the deadline. Kocsis and Villani hold down the rest of the section with a bunch of good stuff.

Going to the Celtics Game Last Night Reminded Me...

Going to the Celtics game in Boston last night reminded me to repost our Celtics tribute shirt promo. Coming off a 3 game losing streak on the road, the C's managed to pull off a great win with Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo all out with short term injuries. Been a good season so far and I think I have watched every game so far on tv and managed to get into the Garden for two. 2010 is starting off well, got to see a Celtic's win and leave this Friday on a road trip to Florida.

Matt Barchus Added to the Sputnic Team

Crongrats to Matt Barchus for getting added to the sputnic team. He is definitely a deserving dude, been killing it for years, and an asset to any company who supports him. PLFL2010 in just a few days and Barchus will be along for the trip!
